Join Us for The Cairn University Highlander Invitational!

Cairn University Athletics is excited to bring you a fun but challenging cross country race for 2026. Running through the rolling hills and wooded trails on Cairn's campus, this is intended to provide an exciting cross country race for high school and college cross country teams alike.

The collegiate men's (8K) and women's (6K) races will take place at 10:00am and 11:00am with the high school division races (both 5K) to follow in the early afternoon (women's at 1:00pm and men's at 2:00pm). Register now to reserve your team's participation!

  • Collegiate Highlander Invitational - Saturday, October 3, 2026

  • High School Highlander Invitational - Saturday, October 3, 2026
    Women's Race (5K), 1:00pm 
    Men's Race (5K), 2:00pm

  • Collegiate Fee: $200 per team or $400 if you register both men's and women's teams
    If you have fewer than 5 runners, "Individual Runners" category $40/runner
  • High School Fee: $150 per team or $300 if you register both men's and women's teams
    If you have fewer than 5 runners, "Individual Runners" category $30/runner

  • All collegiate teams are required to pay online. High School teams are requested to pay by check (make all checks payable to "Cairn Athletics")
