Join Us for the Final Races of 
Our 2021 Winter/Spring 5K Run/Walk Series!

The final race in the Cairn Winter/Spring 5K Race series is the Run to Rescue 5K- now with TWO LOCATIONS and DATES. The first is a paved trail race in Levittown, PA at the Falls Community Park on Saturday, June 12th. For the second we have partnered with Doug Horton Fitness and Wellness and Faith on The Field to bring you a wooded, trail race in Berlin, NJ at the beautiful Glisten FIT property.  

Both races support the fight against sex-trafficking. Funds raised during the Run to Rescue 5K's will support: 
1) Agape International Missions (AIM), a non-profit, Christian organization that fights sex-trafficking in Cambodia and rescues women and girls from slavery and brothels, and provides them with food, housing, education, medical care, and jobs. 
2) International Justice Mission (IJM), a global organization that protects people in poverty from violence. IJM partners with local authorities in 19 program offices in 11 countries to combat slavery, violence against women and children, and other forms of abuse against people who are poor. 
3) The Cairn University Student Scholarship Fund with a portion of the proceeds designated for a student majoring in social services with a focus on helping embattled women.   

You can choose to participate in one or both of the Run to Rescue 5K live races (Levittown, PA and Berlin, NJ) or in a virtual option for those who prefer or who are unable to join us on the 12th or 18th. The virtual option can be completed from anywhere in the world between Friday, June 11th - Sunday, June 20th. 

All registrants will receive a unique, custom designed shirt for each race, and those completing multiple races will be entered to win awards in the Winter/Spring Race Series. In addition, everyone completing 3 or more races in the series will also receive an additional Race Series shirt. 

To maintain proper social distancing and safety for everyone, registration for the on-site Run to Rescue 5K races is limited to 200 participants at each race. As guidelines and restrictions change over time, the number of participants per race may be capped at a higher or lower number depending on the current conditions. There is also a virtual run for those who prefer that option. 

Please note: the COVID-19 pandemic is a fluid situation and should guidelines change, it is possible the local Health Department and/or States of Pennsylvania or New Jersey may require the live 5K event be converted to a virtual-only event. Should that occur the Virtual Challenge will still be held and all registrants for the Run to Rescue 5K live event will be converted to the Virtual Challenge format. Other options may also be offered. No refunds will be issued.

Terms & Agreements

By indicating your acceptance, you understand, agree, warrant and covenant as follows:

I know that preparing for and running or walking in this event is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able. I further realize additional risks associated with preparing for and participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, contact with vehicles on roadways, contact with bystanders viewing the event, the affects of the weather and the condition of all surfaces, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.

I further confirm and acknowledge that I have read all Run to Rescue 5K covid-19 special race rules and agree to abide by all such rules, as well as the current rules and guidelines in affect by the State of Pennsylvania or State of New Jersey, local Department of Health, and any other governmental body with jurisdiction over the area and/or event. I will not participate if I have been diagnosed with a current covid-19 infection, have a fever or any other covid-19 like conditions, or have been in contact with anyone with covid-19 in the past 14 days. The safety and well being of the entire community is of utmost priority, and this includes all participants, staff and volunteers. I further recognize that Tyler State Park, Bucks County Department of Health, Cairn University, Virtual Charity Events, Glisten FIT, and the Cairn Winter/Spring Race Series race committee cannot make any claim and does not have any ability to contain or prevent the spread of the covid-19 virus or any other pathogen. Those who have concerns, fears, or at high risk for contracting covid-19 should not run in any Cairn Winter/Spring Race Series event but rather opt to participate in the Virtual Challenge. I further recognize and agree that the covid-19 pandemic is a fluid situation and should guidelines change, it is possible the local Health Department and/or State of Pennsylvania and/or State of New Jersey may require the live 5K event be converted to a virtual-only event. Should that occur I know and agree that all registrants for the Run to Rescue 5K will be converted to the Virtual Challenge format. Other options may also be offered. I know and accept that NO REFUNDS will be issued.

Knowing these facts I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, covenant not to sue and hereby waive and release any and all rights and claims or liability for death, personal injury, sickness (including covid-19) or property damage of any kind of nature what so ever that I may now or hereafter have against Tyler State Park, Glisten FIT, Cairn University, The Cairn Winter/Spring Race Series committee, Virtual Charity Events, the sponsors, their representatives, successors, or assignees for my preparation, attendance and/or participation in this activity. I certify that I am in physical condition for this event and assume all responsibility for my participation.

I further grant permission for the use of my name and/or picture/video in any newspaper, broadcast or other account of this event without further compensation.

If registering a child under the age of 18 or an incapacitated adult I represent and warrant that I am the parent or legal guardian of that party and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on their behalf and by proceeding with this event registration, I agree that the terms of this Terms & Agreements shall apply equally to all Registered Parties.
