Tour de Natick 2021

The Tour de Natick is a family bike ride held each Father’s Day on the Natick Common by the Rotary Club of Natick. Traditionally the route is a 6 mile loop from the Natick Commons. Following a very successful virtual ride in 2020, and due to the continued corona virus pandemic and for the safety of our volunteers and participants, we are again riding the Tour de Natick "virtually" in 2021.

We have extended this years Virtual Tour de Natick to 9 days - it can be completed anytime starting June 12th through Father's Day weekend, June 20th. You can ride your bike anywhere that works best for you- literally from anywhere in the world! You can even use a stationary bike if you prefer. You can participate in our traditional 6 mile ride, or take on the Tour de Natick Challenge and ride as many miles as you like during the week.

All money raised through the 2021 Virtual Tour de Natick will go toward the Rotary Club of Natick’s charitable foundation to benefit Natick Scholars. Each year the Rotary club of Natick gives away over $10,000 in scholarships to graduating Natick High School Seniors. Additionally, we give out over 300 dictionaries to third graders through our dictionary program. Over the past 15 years we have been able to give out over $160,000 in scholarships and over 4,500 dictionaries because of the Tour de Natick.

Virtual Tour de Natick 2021 Details

Date: Saturday, June 12 - Sunday, June 20, 2021 (Father's Day)
Distance: Choice of 6 miles or take on the "Challenge" and ride as many miles as you can
Location: Anywhere you like
Time: Anytime during the week that fits your schedule
Fees:
$17 for Single riders
$29 for Families

Awards

This is a fun ride, family event and no awards are given for time or distance traveled.
However, there will be several prizes for participants who submit times, distances and photos. Winners will be selected through a random drawing from all participants.

By indicating your acceptance, you understand, agree, warrant and covenant as follows:

I know that preparing for and riding in this event is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able. I further realize additional risks associated with preparing for and participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, accidents, health hazards, the affects of the weather and the condition of all surfaces, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.

Knowing these facts I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound for myself (and all family members registered and participating in this event), my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, covenant not to sue and hereby waive and release any and all rights and claims or liability for death, personal injury or property damage of any kind of nature what so ever that I may now or hereafter have against the Rotary Club of Natick, the Tour de Natick organizing committee, Virtual Charity Events, the sponsors, their representatives, successors, or assignees for my preparation and/or participation in this activity. I certify that I am/we are in physical condition for this event and assume all responsibility for my/our participation. I HEREBY ASSUME LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR OTHER LIABILITY FROM SUCH EVENT FOR THE PARTIES LISTED HEREAFTER AND ASSUME ALL RISKS REGARDING PARTICIPATING IN THE TOUR de NATICK.

I further grant permission for the use of my name and/or picture/video in any newspaper, broadcast or other account of this event without further compensation.

This event is rain or shine. There are no refunds.

If registering a child under the age of 18 or an incapacitated adult I represent and warrant that I am the parent or legal guardian of that party and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on their behalf and by proceeding with this event registration, I agree that the terms of this Terms & Agreements shall apply equally to all Registered Parties.
